The Davana Oil as so many useful purpose one of many essential oils that we use in our products.

A heavy floral scent with a sweet chamomile note reminiscent of wine. Used in perfumery and religious offerings. Davana Oil is extracted using the steam distillation method from the Davana leaves and flowers. Blends well with Rose, Jasmine, Ylang ylang, Patchouli, Sweet Orange, Bergamot, Mandarin, Amyris, Vanilla, and Tangerine oils. Relaxes the mind and body, can be used as a sedative. Also reduces stress and anxiety. Davana Oil is thought to be an aphrodisiac. Works wonders during the flu and cold season alleviating dry skin, coughs and infections. Recommended to use as a spray, diffuser or steam, to clean and disinfect the air. Also a antiviral, antiseptic, nervine, and emmenagogue. Can help to reduce blood glucose levels and the endocrine system can be stimulated by its use. Cosmetic companies use Davana Oil as a base note in perfumes. It is also stated that when applied topically to the skin the aroma will be different for each individual person. For this reason it is highly valued in high class perfumery.
